For vented gas logs please measure
the height, width and depth of the fireplace.

For unvented gas logs please measure
the height, width and depth of the fireplace AND if you have a wooden mantel above the fireplace, the distance from the top of the fireplace opening to the bottom of the mantel and the width of the shelf.

For fireplace inserts please measure
the height, width and depth of the fireplace.

For glass doors and standing screens please measure
the height and width of the fireplace opening.

If yourfireplace is a "prefab" please bring
the manufacturer and the model number of your fireplace.

For any gas burning product please know
where the source of gas is coming from.

For woodstoves, fireplaces and any product which has a vent please consider
where it seems likely the chimney will go.
